Ydre Oesterbro (outer Oesterbro)

Though workers or socially marginalized people live in some apartment blocks, outer Oesterbro is known as the rich upper-class quarter and is mostly inhabited by the wealthy. The northern part of the district is made up of villas with gardens and the price of accommodation is very high. Nearer to inner Oesterbro, accommodation is in smaller flats similar to those in the rest of central Copenhagen, and prices are lower. Trains and buses cross the area, but services are not as frequent as in the centre. It may be useful to have a car or bicycle here.
